No team plays with a back as a sub unless no others available. Jack is anything but versatile. We will see how good the coach is now, but don't hold your breath as he won,t not play certain players. This signing certainly puts a question mark over Jack Owens starting, though he would make a great bench player as he could be a versatile interchange for almost any back position.
If Owens comes out as FB instead of Connell on Sunday, I’ll be fewmin!
It's a waste to put him on wing he's an attacking centre something we have missed for a long time !!! Only we could get someone like that and put him on wing 😂😂
time for Coleman to be brave Connell at fullback sambou in centre drop gregson play jack at loose forward he's played stand off he's creative and he's still a leader plus it gets rid of gregson
Coleman has to drop his favorite's even Jack Owens dropped a high ball in the centres against London with no pressure on him. Personally I would give Connell fullback with Edge and Sambou centres. Mcwhirter at loose forward and drop Owens and Gregson.

I almost agree with you - but would you consider Owens on the wing instead of Ince.
Certainly McWhirter must be given a run as LF, Connell at FB and Edge/Sambou as centres.
@sunny more I think bout it the 2 options are jack plays stand off or edge goes on wing jack stays in centre
gregson will never be dropped!!!

Personally in my opinion I would drop Jack Owens as I feel there is better players in the squad. He is too slow for the wing and is a liability under a high ball, so the only option is Stand off with Abdul if in the team. Connell, Ince, Edge, Sambou and Butt first 5 for me. Possibly Edge to the wing if want Owens in the centres. Then Butt or Ince is dropped. Hey a good headache for Coleman though.
It is somewhat surprising AC doesn’t look at others in positions like 13. I guess Gregson shows a lot in training maybe. We do look more of a threat in attack when jj moves to 13 but maybe it’s because later in the game when defenses have tired.
@mckviking jj or mcwhirter are the best 2 but we also have Roberts hall gregson that have played there we surely don't need all those to cover that position
Sounds like we are in the race for Ramon Silva too. Very useful!
@steve seen alot of Ramon....big lad...does good minutes..fit as a fiddle ...hard as nails
Where are the Ramon Silva rumors coming from
John Davidson on Twitter, says we are also linked with Paasi from Saints.
Considering we only train twice a week and he is on a full time contract, surely KR would want a young player training more frequently?
@sunny You would assume he would do as a full time player. If we train from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings it makes sense for him to train in the daytime for Hull KR on the days we dont train.
