Getting a long in the tooth these days so not so attractive for SL, but good experienced half back/ hooker.

Joe was a great player for us, but age will be catching him up now, probly a one year contact at best - in the halves alongside roberts 

If we’re trying to sign mellor that would suggest we aren’t getting Will Roberts, I assume he’s looking for a full time contract

Mellor will be 35 next season, so you would assume a 1 year deal. Even if we could get Roberts on a 12 month loan that would be better, unless recalled i suppose.

I assume Mellor is available now as Salford have imploded, but with Patton, Roberts and Gilmore all available in dont think we need him? He is the running stand off we lack but I know he's been filling in at hooker of late. Is a running 6 still his game?

What about James Meadows from Bradford who can’t get a look in there?

A running 6, played SL for London, played with gilly in the batley team that got to the GF in 2022, only 26 years old 

Could be worth a shout but he’s got another year on his Bradford deal

Sounds like Joe is returning, hopefully as an experienced squad man rather than our first choice stand off/scrum half.
