Possibly the thread of our biggest fear!

Spedding, Smith, Farnworth and Latu all mentioned as having taken knocks by one person or another so will hope there’s news of no lasting issues?

Jack Owens took a knock late on as well.

Latu took a head knock but won't be able to play next week anyway and neither will Patton. Lyons in at half back, Baker I would start in the 2nd row as I think he has been our best forward.  Dugdale on the bench and I would also bring Dwyer in on the bench as a back row option.

I think we will have too much for Oldham especially at home but need to have close to a full squad for Dewsbury away the week after. Tough small pitch to play on, Craven is a big miss as I think his game has really come on in the last 2 seasons.

Interesting issue raised at the Dewsbury ground today for Bradfords game. Apparently the pitch was declared dangerous as no run-off area at the ends so had to be shortened 10 mins before kick off.  Very strange.

Leeds have had the same issue at Headingley so have very small in goal areas this season.  They must have tightened the health and safety rules, but Dewsbury' s pitch was too small already. A late, cold Sunday evening on a small heavy pitch won't suit our forwards!

Craven is seeing the doctor on Wednesday to see if he needs an operation or can carry on playing without one, let’s hope he doesn’t need one, or we will be without him for 4/6 weeks.

Specialists aren’t just sat round twiddling their thumbs waiting for Craven to get injured! I’m sure he has had some treatment but has had to wait for an appointment to see a specialist on what ever injury he has, be that a hand or leg injury.

Danny spoke at Hospitality on Sunday and mentioned he had a similar injury to the other hand a season or so ago and was out of action for 10 weeks.. I sincerely hope it is good news for Danny and Widnes Vikings, be a huge blow for us if that was so..

And Buckley.

Wouldn't class him as first team to be honest

Else isn’t either and Cooper hasn’t been so far.

Smith might be missing next week with a hamstring issue. He was repeatedly holding it in the second half but do not recall him coming off at all. The trainer went on once to him too. I would have thought he should have been brought off straight away especially with the game safe.

Sheens also said Ted took a knock & Spedding missed today with a knee knock.

Good news Jay Chapelhow may return earlier than expected next week.

He did. Joe Lyons came on for him.
