Dunno but I think Kenny Senior must be related to Jimmy Rule 😉

I suppose they feel like they need to mark the Jubilee Bank Holiday somehow on Match Day, not at all bothered by that.

It becomes a bit more apparent I think that it was a panic firing due to the reaction during and after the Batley game and they hadn't clued up in terms of a new coach.

Maybe they are hoping RoB will do a half decent job and that something will turn up. Maybe there is a divide between those who want RoB to get a run and those who want someone else asap in the boardroom?

It has a bit too much of a Phoenix Nights Social Committee feel about it for me.

Brian Potter would be an improvement.

I'd go for Clinton Baptiste...............................I'm getting the name............Phil

@pauliewalnuts The local kids might have a fun day if they had a decent team to watch

Let's try Marshall or Agar for coach. Be interested who is in the running. 🥖🥖🥖🍺

Of that there is no doubt, and there's no bigger kids than us lot. The 80 mins is what it is. The Club are having a go at trying to make a Bank Holiday event, something that may draw a few to the DCBL instead of the local beaches/parks/forests etc. You never know, it maybe a successful day (with a win as well).

After a pitiful performance last night still no Head Coach and the team slipping down the division like a stone,We get an Email advertising a ‘Street Party’ when we play Bradford Bulls…Do people running the club really not ‘Get It’ Unless they sort the mess out on the pitch they be no one there to attend!!!

That’s one way of looking at it.

Another way is - the more they get people interested in the club, on and off, the pitch the greater the chance of getting more money into the club.

Obviously the better the team is the more likely that people will turn up but, given the team has been poor for four or five years, the idea of attracting people with off field activities is not to be sniffed at.

Even in current times, when the social media entranced population has a concentration span of about 2 and a half seconds, parties are still quite popular.

Both of my grandsons ( seven and four) are season ticket holders but their parents aren’t but they are going as are half a dozen other friends with their kids, so it’s working. Just don’t understand this CONSTANT bombardment of everything the club does, take a rest please it’s becoming boring🥱🥱

Everything the club does??

We are a club in free fall, we are a club with no coach & the last one plus others were diabolical, we have a fan base voting with their feet, the club are losing out on thousands of £'s every home game, we are a club that should be vying for a play off place, the players look as though they don't want to be part of WV etc., etc.

@martin it’s a constant bombardment because at the moment the club is being run in a shambolic way,Fair enough they’re  putting something on for the kids on a Bank Holiday but will it entice adults to pay £22 to bring their children for the privilege? I doubt it.Support wise we are down to the Hardcore support that has stuck with the club since 94’ and the current situation is even putting them at breaking point.if there is nothing done in the next 10 days regarding recruitment of a new Head Coach and a statement from the board regarding the direction the club is going to take in the near future fans will continue to walk away.

One thing is starting to bug me about these boards, and that’s the fact that there seems to be a constant whining about the cost of going to a game. You go anywhere for entertainment and you’re looking at a ballpark cost of £10 per hour. If you can’t justify or afford it then don’t fudging go, but for gods sake stop moaning about the cost of going to a game of rugby as nobody is forced to go and if it stresses people out so much them maybe you should go and watch some kids sport of a weekend.

If we were winning Steve  I'm sure they wouldn't be moaning.. think it's the fact that we are so crunchie that it comes up.

These fuckers don't mind following the crowds to watch premiership soccer in the local boozer's rinsing through £22 though..

Premier League soccer rules in Widnes these days.. Widnes rugby league is just there cheap bit on the side 💃💅

Exactly my brother won't even take a free ticket because we are that shite. Football rules in the Town unless we get a Pinkies at the club, which would bring red blooded horney people to the games. I haven't had a Stiffy since we played good rugby. Pascal wants to watch a team with Passion win or lose. It is effort that we want from the team. 🥖🥖🥖🥖👍
