Obviously the Head Coach situation needs addressing ASAP and can only hope that we are not too far off making an appointment and obviously getting it right! I don’t see an issue with the “street party” though, it might encourage people to turn up, there’s stuff there for kids who may enjoy it and hopefully it will raise a few quid for the club. Obviously with a win last night it would have done better though and the performances on the pitch are very frustrating for us fans.

What should the club do if they aren't too impressed with the applicants so far? Just make do and end up with another Finnigan in charge who will also get the sack ? Or be patient and make sure they get the right one ?

The latter within reason. Though has the club not told us there has been considerable interest in the job?

@jeffjonno

Andrew Henderson has today ruled himself out of a head coach job full stop.

According to the club Finnegan was the right man Sinbad, the frightening thing is that it will be our silent CEO selecting once again. It really does not matter who is best for the club as the coach will not be running the show. we may as well advertise on indeed.

I suppose they feel like they need to mark the Jubilee Bank Holiday somehow on Match Day, not at all bothered by that.

It becomes a bit more apparent I think that it was a panic firing due to the reaction during and after the Batley game and they hadn't clued up in terms of a new coach.

Maybe they are hoping RoB will do a half decent job and that something will turn up. Maybe there is a divide between those who want RoB to get a run and those who want someone else asap in the boardroom?

It has a bit too much of a Phoenix Nights Social Committee feel about it for me.

Brian Potter would be an improvement.
