Yes agree but your comment was that pattens kicking game was superb !
but you still don’t want to retain him ?
Roberts is a far better option, with Lyons as back up in both halves
@7-vikingnomad eh? I said I don’t think pattens up to much! Didn’t say anything about his kicking game mate. I do think he’s better than Joey but that’s just a personal opinion!
I’d rather will Roberts than either of them, but if he’s not an option - then I’d rather James meadows from Bradford who can’t get a look in but has played decent throughout his career including SL at London
I'd rather get Riley dean from Oldham if as per rumours go they signing lomax from saints
and in addition to your difference of patten and Lyons I wouldn't keep either but stats don't lie and one has created far more tries than the other in a similar amount of games and it's not Lyons

I would prefer these players over Lyons and Patton, but Riley Dean and Will Roberts an option too. Dec Patten I definitely prefer over Lyons.
Don’t forget joeys performance against Toulouse? Where he sent Adam in for 2 tries and created a third - you did comment that was the best you had seen him play for us, which I agreed with - then he got injured !
he is still relatively young and May yet develop into a great player, whereas patten been round the block already so don’t see much development prospect there
but both will be as back up in the halves
@7-vikingnomad the graphic shows patten was ahead halfway through the season plus I take another 5 or so so as average he has been his assists have contributed more than Lyons who as hard as he works isn't a creative or running half we need alongside Gilmore organisation
