No negativity or anything towards the lad because I don’t know what he’s about or what he can do, but in the article it says he can play well above his size. Why do Widnes always seem to pick the smaller players for a forward pack why can’t we just sign someone who is a big grub and puts fear into people 😂😂. Fingers crossed he’s good

Never seen him play to comment, but I think Wigan or Oldham fans who saw him play are best to judge. I agree and love some size.

As said above nothing personal against the lad to be at wigan must have a lot of potential I just see this again as a 19 year old who is coming and expected to replace one of our senior props and will end up getting flogged to death and over used for his age

think the signing will sum up the season plenty of effort and not enough quality to put teams away and will end up mid season or earlier falling away

How big is he exactly?  I can't see any details when I've looked.  Or are we just assuming he's too small?

Have you not seen the photo ? Perhaps he's huge but it's just a poor image.

Maybe use the pic with Coleman where he clearly looks alot bigger than the pic at the top of the thread ...

Unbelievable

He's too small

How big is he

DUNNO .....😂

According to a friend (Wigan fan ) he reckons he's South of 16st but does belt it in ..compared him as similar to Harvey makin who played on loan  at barrow last season n he was very good

Your not at Wigan if ye crap...

@sinbad So in other words, you don't know but people have made the assumption on one photo?  I agree he doesn't look big on that photo but there is no perspective and it doesn't show his height.

Let's see the stats and see the lad play before we jump to conclusions.

@robbo Fair comment.I remember Richard Eyres debut at Wigan in a Lancs Cip tie.We got battered but he was quite outstanding.18 years old and about 14 stone. Then Paul Hulme the same.

Hopefully he is a cracking player and I think people just want a big prop forward, as Reilly had some size to bust some holes up the middle. 💪🥖🥖

You don't always have to be tall to be a top class prop.  Take somebody like Andy Platt.  His stats on Wikipedia are:

Height 5 ft 10 in (1.78 m)
Weight 16 st 10 lb (106 kg)

And he didn't do badly.  I'm not comparing this lad with Andy Platt, but let's at least give him a chance.

They said that about a certain Leeds prop but he won the Lance Todd in 77.

He may pay above is weight or be a pocket battleship.

Makes a change to sign a player that has played for Oldham previously.
