But the interview was pre recorded so pre planned. Maybe Terry O,Connor will interview him next with pre planned questions. 😉 😉We stand corrected
I am not one for having a go at people behind the scenes, especially when I do not know 100% the ins and outs, but this is a total lack of respect to the club and fans. Utterly unprofessional from the man running our club who should be seen to be professional at all times. His position is clearly untenable now surely. The 'I hate rugby league' statement should be enough alone!
What's our record low attendance for a cup match against professional opposition?
Gonna be in danger on Sunday!!

It might be just Hamilton with a crowd around him…..
We will have to get the Hamilton out banners at the ready. As are current owners don’t seem to think he’s the problem maybe we can show them haha
I believe the club has never recorded a three figure attendance for a proper game in the post war era apart from at Runcorn Canal Street. That may end this Sunday but I'm sure they would round it to 1000 just to save face. What's our record low attendance for a cup match against professional opposition?

Lowest I can find on google for a cup game in Widnes against a pro team is 1349 v Lezignan in 2010 which IIRC was on a Tuesday or Wednesday night due to the Ash Cloud!
£22 a bit much for a cup match too?
James any chance that you could get to interview him ?. I know you would ask all the right questions.Seen this coming a mile off and been on the case for months, good to see the penny is finally beginning to drop.
A big problem appears to be is that he still thinks he's the 'owner'. He's trying to act and run it like when he was at Oldham, when he was the owner. He's an employee of the club. I don't care who you are, the "head of operations" shouldn't be anywhere near the tunnel on a match day shaking players hands as they come off.
The board have allowed the situation to develop where the club has effectively become about one man.
Lies about budget, poor treatment of staff, poor negotiations with existing players, poor recruitment, unprofessional club media output, poor communications, kit fiasco. Every member of club staff (office and coaching) has left or been pushed. All that in less than 12 months. Wonder what the next year will bring.
I have no doubt that there has been a (sensible) instruction to cut costs and that will no doubt be what Hamilton hangs his hat on - but to do that while claiming the budget isn't being reduced, and not being transparent with the fans the club desperately needs to keep on side after years of trials and tribulations is just a recipe for disaster.
In six years, fans have had to endure relegation, administration, five coaches, no play-offs, academy gone. While some of those things aren't the board's fault, they've got to realise that people aren't supporters of a board, they are supporters of Widnes RLFC, and it's clear people are getting increasingly disenfranchised.
And what next? Well sadly, it seems like following the path of Oldham (irony). The only hope is that the council continue to support, as the stadium/facilities (as well as history) feels like the only thing Widnes have got at the moment.
Think our lowest ever crowd was 852 v Swinton in 1997.
Lowest cup crowd is 1,359 v Lezignan.
@prisoner Hamilton wouldn’t put himself in a situation where the right questions would be put to him. When is the next members meeting?
He wont get grilled at a members monday night. There is still the woman happy clapping over us having a team picture done, Its all nicey nice stuff. Lots of back slapping and self praise over a one club philosophy they adapted not realising Rule done 1 club 10 years ago
I don't agree with making the club suffer because of Hamilton. The club is on a precipice at it is. There should be a different way of making feelings felt otherwise the club could slide into oblivion.
