Frustrating

This team when it wants can be in that top 6 and hold its own with anyone.

however far too often there are just these spurts of embarrassing switch offs that have been prominent since the Betts era. It’s so frustrating

fair play to craven (except the last few mins) and Owens for justifying their selections. Can we keep our spine and get into the playoffs with a bit of momentum? Only time will tell

To be fair we've had a couple of frustrating losses, and Danny getting himself sinbinned has gone towards those losses.

Can’t we just say WELL DONE on a great victory away at Halifax. Listened  to the game from behind the couch, a great advertisement for the Championship and well done to Ince for his MOTM. First time Gilmore and Craven have played together and proved a solid partnership and maybe lost a few for next weeks four pointer against Batley👍👍

@martin spot on chap let’s enjoy our games - fax fans will be spitting, they were top 3 a few months back, now down amongst the dead men

our game at London could be massive - checking the train times as we speak

onwards and upwards

Massive win and a well-earned one. We go above Batley if we beat them on Sunday. That didn’t look feasible a few weeks ago! We have four games left and they are all tough but if we win them all we will finish no lower than fifth. Shame one of them is Fev away but at least we are still in with a punchers chance of making the playoffs. Thought both Owens and Craven went very well considering how long that they have been out for. Farnworth was exceptional in defence and I liked the look of Worthington, put a couple of important defensive shots in when we were under the kosh. The stand out performer was Ryan Ince though - not only scored a hat-trick but also saved at least two certain tries with one on one defence against Walmsley who is one of the best wingers in the division.

@mt What a tackle from Ince on Walmsley in the corner where the Widnes fans were. Not only a try saver but almost took him into the main stand!

Regarding Craven's yellow, shouldn't warrant any further action, provided it was a yellow. If it had been for bad mouthing the ref it should have been a red.

Looks like Ince could have been carrying a knock, has recovered, and wants his place back!!

At over 17 stone Huw might well be a good acquisition as long as he's fit.

Be interesting if a few players change their mind after seeing Oldham lose again today. Danny Craven I have always rated, but unfortunately don't know how many games a season he will play. If we get a new halfback I hope get a decent one who is robust. We need to get in the playoffs, as will be some extra money for the club to build for next season.

If you could have craven and Gilmore fit for the season - no problem we would be right up there, but unfortunately that has not happened - need a good back up, joey actually has done well

oldham losing just shows how they need our players, they still have a chance in the playoffs but up against it

we still surprisingly can make the playoffs , it’s in our own hands but knowing Widnes ….

enjoy the ride

onwards and upwards

Now craven is back we need him playing with Gilmore and Owens as they know each other’s games

lyons is a good backup player but hasn’t done enough to make starting 17

listening on the radio is nothing like being at the game

ince had a stormer! Maybe he is playing for the badge which is great

doesn’t seem like we missed Lawton

huw could be a good big lad who could turn out to be a great signing

I was in the main stand looking down that touchline & a try looked a certainty. Ince came across & hit him from the side at top speed & took him into the advertising hoardings & he stayed there for some time! Ince today was unbelievable. A  hatrick, all on an overlap but finished well, his long run in second half set up the try scoring position & he ran the ball out & caught every bomb all afternoon.MOM by a country mile.

Cravens card was for "the next foul one is off"after a team warning when we were desperately defending our line in last 10 minutes.

Great win. A very enjoyable game

How many games have we actually had this season where our best players have been available, and in form? If there'd been more, we'd comfortably be top 6.

It’s the first time that Craven and Gilmore have played together this season. With that in mind I thought they combined very well.
