Just received this info, believe what you will..
A player on the phone to his agent today and was informed that @WidnesRL Chris Hamilton had applied for the job as CEO at Oldham fc this week, his application was turned down.
Seems his loyalty to @WidnesRL is very questionable.
Would tally in with the rumour that appeared on here earlier in the week.
Rumours aside, why would he would get that job; if the new regime at Oldham wanted to keep him on they could have done in Spring when they took over?
Also, he is, of course, entitled to apply for any job just like you or me. I just don't get our board's appointments at times!

At a guess it suggests that his pay isn't up to soccer club standards!!!
Or he realises he has messed up at Widnes and needs to jump before he is pushed.

That being said, why did he get appointed and why are the board still backing him?
@cj91 quite simply because the board have told him his role ..what they want him to do .what they see as problems within the club ....some won't like to hear this but it's just a fact ... Hamilton is just the scapegoat for the board ...the notion that he's running around completely out of control doing what he wants .. upsetting who he wants is just total garbage ...that was the case he'd have been sacked right off like any employer would ....take the anger guys ..stop listening to conspiracy theories and redirect the anger at the board ...they call the shots.
