Don’t think we can ask for a much better start looking at the other ties, first home game against a side similar to us not overly impressed of the arrivals and concerned about numbers in the squad

we lose this and it really could set the toxic tone of the season given we usually start quickly and fall off a cliff

We're up at 'Haven in the first league game, which must be regarded as winnable, but......................

We said that last term at the same stage, and we ducked to Thunder at home, starting a real roller coaster of a campaign!

We'll be baling out at Keswick on the way up, for the best fish and chips on the planet!

Although, there's the little matter of the 1895 before that!

Spelly.

If Coleman makes a balls of those first four games,three at home,then I can't see him still here come June.With all due respect there are much tougher games to come afterwards and four wins are expected from a team who are supposed to be intent on being serious challengers.Got to go to Featherstone in game five with 100%.We shall see.

Can see the usual pattern emerging - probably win 6 of the first 8 and still miss out on the play-offs.

Oh Woe is me and lackaday!!!!! Do Ellgreen do cyanide pills?

And you expect the players to be 'up for it !' when the keyboard warriors have already jumped ship?

@sandgroper Why are people who don't feel confident in the team classed as keyboard warriors?

Why not wait and watch a few games before dissing the coach and the team, strange I realise but give them a chance for christs sake

be careful what you wish for

Mate I think people are dissing because every year all the talk and then don't back it up. Personally I don't think any of the teams are outstanding in the Championship. Wakefield probably favourites but our dual registration with a decent club may help with a little extra quality. Preferred Saints or Wigan but Wakefield and Swinton paired with these teams. Last year paired up with Rochdale and I just have a feeling a few extra quality might get a few better results. I agree I feel we need to give the coach 5 or 6 games before judging 👍

@ditton-donkey Can't imagine anyone on here wishing for bad results

@widnes77

That's what we all are surely?

We will have varying degrees of contact with the game in the past but, due to age or whatever we don't feature actually on the field!!!!
