@johng he looked injured in a tackle , went to the wing for 10 mins with Brand at fb , deffo not happy when replaced perhaps he thought it should have happened sooner ? Maybe a blessing in disguise if he misses a game or two , Brand was decent back there

We was definitely a better team once Jack Owens left the field. Hopefully keep Brand for the season. Need to win a few games as got some tough fixtures soon. If Jordan is injured I like to see another prop on loan possibly Brett Bailey
Jack was inured in a tackle, tried to run it off, then moved to centre with Brand at full back. That may have been too much for AC!
Taking a wider view we were, from the start, carrying several new players and needed half a game to settle with real opposition. Jack injured and juggling the team about wasn't going to help tbh.
Must say that the way JJ and Fozz are developing is great to see. Rapid ptb from JJ and carried on with Fozz is hard to defend against particularly as the defence tires!
@sunny letting Walker and Dixon go early seems to me a big mistake and I think it's a money saving job.Batley and Dewsbury both had massive packs compared to ours something I am sure the coach is well aware of.

I thought he was just substituted for playing crap... Brand made a much better fist of the job when he went to FB.

Good Jack should never been guaranteed a place in the team and fair play to Coleman. Jack was playing crap and has been a few times. Dixon, Fleming and Brand have all played better at fullback than Jack Owens 💪👍
Nothing personal but Jack's best days are well behind him and what little pace he once had has long gone along with his confidence.He's been a great servant to the club but time waits for nobody.Mistake to give him a new contract,he isn't the future.
I thought it was a relatively low-key game but that suited what was needed after a rocky spell over the last 6 weeks. Both Hookers were fantastic and I am increasingly impressed with Brogan. Hopefully some missing players-particularly in the pack, will be back for Halifax.
As for Jack, a positional change may reinvigorate him.
Would Coleman drop Owen’s for the fax game? We seemed sharper in attack and going forward abit more with brand, he probs had his best game yet but will probably be going back to Leigh next week so assume he won’t push Owen’s out.
Depends on what Jack's injury is tbh. It looked like something wrong with his foot which can be difficult with so many small bones to likely break!
