Been through more clubs than Bonnie Blue. He did okay but we definitely need a running halfback.

I noticed that of the five you've announced who are leaving, four are ex-Lions!

North Wales will be our derby game next season. Should be interesting with half the starting line up being ex Widnes. I would have Sam Wilde back to replace Lloyd if he can make training with his job.

Is Colwyn Bay nearer to you than Heywood Road?

@spelly With Salford not submitting a SL bid the Swinton vs Salford derby is back. We are the closest team to North Wales.

When was the last time you played against Salford in a competitive fixture? I imagine in a league fixture it would have been very early nineties?

March / April 2003 I think mate. Norther Rail or summat like that, and they stuffed us! I can't recall us playing 'em since other than in friendlies (if you can have a friendly against the Pinks!)

I remember it coz the game bisected my dad dying, and his funeral, and he passed away 26 March 2003.

I've asked our records keeper for the full SP, but meantime..................

And for a couple of Brownie Points, which current team have we gone longest without playing 'em? It goes back to Station Road days!

Spelly.

My mate been back, and it's more recent than the above. It was 29 February, 2008 at the Willows, in the National League Cup, and they put seventy past us!
