The biggest change from this year to last year within the environment is Bob Beswick.  I'm surprised he's not getting more mentions in terms of the fitness and the look of this squad this year to last year.

The last 2 weeks have been slugfests in the mud and we've come out on top of both of them, nilling Dewsbury last night.  This comes down not just to fitness, but attitude, culture, will to win, accountability and wanting to work for your mates.  It's early days but there's good signs within the squad.

Great addition to the club is Beswick, I only hear good things about him.

I predicted 4 out 4 because I knew Bob Beswick is in good shape, and is very professional. The whole environment at the club has a great feel about it and may it continue.

We didn't "nil" Dewsbury last night.

@sunny Presumably VM means in the second half, when we've been prone to the odd collapse or two, in the past, especially in the White Rose County!

Pretty sure that the playing experience of BB is applied alongside the fitness! Our fitness is obviously massively improved and it makes the difference.

The coaching/fitness set up could stick together with any luck and that would carry us forward, maybe even into SL!

Still a long way to go yet and us and others could drop a few notches, but here's hoping its not us!!!

Totally agree that the pre-season back-room changes, with the introduction of Bob Beswick and the promotion of Ryan O'Brien, have worked out well; and the new signings, including the loan signing of Doro, have also worked out well. I would be good to see Nzoungou having a run out. Finnegan and Finney must also take credit for our change in fortunes. Long may it continue.

@sch92

The group that we have now will benefit Ryan too. Good to rub shoulders with experience rather than waiting for your own!

Pretty much as we thought - fitness levels appear way better , when it was 12-10 last night that was the type of game would collapse on and lose by a lot

players dug deep, baker,doro,Tyrer,Roby,Wilde to mention a few

good to see the French contingent are getting their letters right

onwards and upwards

we can always revisit the finishing predictions, eh sonny !
