I know the club and team have bigger matters at present to handle on and off the pitch but surely something can be done about where the away fans sit. People pay money to have a season ticket and don’t get to sit in the seats they want due to the away support I know there’s plenty of seats to sit in but it’s besides the point. The council and the club really need to get a hold of this before they lose even more fans 😂. Anyway has John left?
Fully agree. We didn’t sit in our season ticket seats yesterday because there were loads of Swinton fans sat in them and it just isn’t worth the agro asking them to move. Stewards are pointless, too.
Don’t understand why away fans are told to sit in the north stand where it’s underserved anyway.
Small things add up.
@viking25 it’s just stupid it won’t be long till something boils over and kicks off and like you say them stewards are about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Last time fev played at Widnes there was signs up and being told where to sit and it couldn’t of been better but now it’s just a free for all there’s no point having a reserved seat in that stand anymore…
Agree with this, there's no stickers on the chairs so it's not the away fans fault, they will sit wherever. We've got to look after season ticket holders more than ever, if there's no guarantee you sit in your allocated seat, given the dross we watched yesterday it's the little things that make people decide on whether to re-new. You pick a seat for a reason.
If Widnes fans are more concerned about where the away fans park their arses’ over that what happens on the pitch, we are in more shite than what I thought!
@a-cape there’s plenty of threads on here where you can vent your frustrations over the club and performances on the pitch. This is just to point out the fact that fans are pissed off about this too.
I must confess that I didn't even check my seat number yesterday.
I just went in the turnstile that was on it, and sat with my mates.
No agro at all, in fact a couple of Chemics I know, even had a pic taken of them and I.
I didn't even realise that I could've been in someone's "normal" seat.
NP's capacity was hardly tested yesterday. 20% full?
Is it a money reason? If away fans were sat (say) behind the goals, and totally separate from the home supporters, the cost of stewarding would be higher, as they'd have to employ more of 'em.
If I sat in someone's fave position, my apologies!
Spelly.
PS - But as the opening gambit suggests, you've far bigger problems than that on your plate at present!
@spelly not digging away fans out at all they aren’t to know it’s down to the stewards and club to inform or do something about it. But that’s for another time I suppose the relegation battle is on!😂
@spelly 1) not digging away fans out at all they aren’t to know it’s down to the stewards and club to inform or do something about it. But that’s for another time 2) I suppose the relegation battle is on!😂
1) I know that mate, it was obvious from the way you worded it!
2) For us defo, but as poo as you were yesterday, I don't think you'll be dragged into the mix. You'll have to settle for (like me in the Prediction League) mid table mediocrity! 😀 😀
