If I recollect correctly were we not promised a percentage of the takings on game days and other occasions. I seem to remember it was ten percent so we should be getting a cut!
Also…. What happened to the longhouse, I took my grandsons and they loved it, everything we had outside in the “village” could have been done inside including food

@prisoner if people stopped attending because they couldn’t get a pie and a pint or had to queue for a little, and it is a little because our attendances haven’t been the best for some years, then it’s pathetic

@martin I thought that was bridge suite only? Which is why they were doing things in there a lot

the longhouse was a CH thing if I remember got some mixed reviews. Maybe the council charge more to use the table tennis hall than the car park 😂

@7-vikingnomad yeah I think it was 50/50. It was one of the Widnes rugby chat podcasts from last season

You ought to try going to the game to see the crunchie state of the north stand and the lack of everything, the club are saying they want to to prove the matchday experience thats whats pathetic

@pauliewalnuts

I suppose the thing is that prawn sandwiches do not require heating whereas pies do

The Lobster thermidor is warm, and the chips & curry. We don't do many pastries, that's for the cheap seats to quaff.

🤣 🤣 🤣

Our concourses are all a bit drab compared to the likes of Warrington, St Helens & Leigh - think we've suffered in that department due to getting our stadium sorted first.    If the council ever has any money to invest in the stadium, a face lift there wouldn't go amiss to bring the facilities up to a decent standard

We all know it needs improving the service in the North stand and possibly raised to the club. But to not have a Pie for an excuse to not go a game is pathetic. It really just finding an excuse not to go the games and to be honest non of us really care. 🤣 I only go a few a season due to living 200 miles away but not having a pie is not on my list of concerns. I go for a good entertaining game. 🤣 🤣

@begg exactly I can’t make every game these days but still get to around 12 (home and away)

Im all for bashing the club when they do something wrong or are underperforming but this level of pettiness complaining is just levels.

The club are actively trying to improve and we have to give this new general manager the time and support to achieve this game day atmosphere. A crowd of 4k on opening home day after a comprehensive defeat against London is a positive sign that fans are willing to give that chance and long may it continue.

ive also never heard of any fans not going because they can’t get a pie or pint for 80 minutes

Hang on, no-one mentioned pints, it was pies up for discussion. If it's pints, it gets serious.

While we are on it, I didnt want to moan, and again its directed at the council not the club. But outside the North Stand all the shutters are covered in dirt and moss and weeds are growing up the walls from the pavement all along the side of the stand.

The club have put effort in with new signage for a re-brand. Its been a 4 month off season, so to not even wipe the moss and dirt off the shutters for the 1st game is poor stadium management in my opinion. Its not like its a massive job.
