Maybe the free lunch is over and Hamilton has been given the task of weeding out the players who are constantly injured and underperforming and the players dont like that.  Lets be honest there are only a handful of players that are worth keeping and the rest need shipping out.

Does this forum represent the view of the fans? Not entirely. It enables a few keyboard warriors to spread their bile, to spout childish comments about players, the coach and Directors and to spread unfounded rumours; but it also gives some fans an opportunity to express their genuine views and concerns about the Club and to have a grown up discussion with other fans.

I would hope that if anyone at the Club reads (and possibly contributes to) this forum, they can ignore the childish dross from the genuine comments of fans. Rumours spread on here of administration and unrest within the Club, may well have some impact on the signing of players and a coach, who may not want to come to a club if there is some doubt that their contracts may turn out to be worthless.

I do agree that the Club seem to be reluctant to connect with fans but, suggestions that players are being released to save money and wages not being paid, need to be addressed quickly.

One question that I would ask is if indeed Hamilton is re-negotiating player contracts ie reducing them, to save money, how much is he being paid and are Directors also reviewing his contract? If we are looking to attract better players next year, I presume that their contracts will need to reflect this with higher wages. Quite honestly, if their is a squeeze in finances, I would prioritise players over a Head of Operations.

My view is that priority needs to be given to getting things right on the pitch for the second half of this season, to ensure that we can avoid relegation and albeit a remote chance, finish in a play-off place. This means bringing in players now to strengthen the squad for the rest of the season - preferably not short-term loans; to identify the players we want to retain and sign for 2024, to ensure we have a decent quality squad, genuinely capable of competing in the Championship; and bringing in a decent coach to have an input into the building of the squad for 2024.

My grown up opinion Frank is that ALL fans of the club have been taken for a ride since the new board took over. Obviously I can only speak for myself, but in all my years watching Widnes, I have never, ever walked out at half time, however that performance against Swinton, was quite simply the final straw for me and quite a few that left after 40 minutes. They (the board) are letting players leave and have not replaced them, this is all happening whilst we are struggling to put a match day 17 together! The communication from the club is a joke. I cannot comment on the new CEO as I haven’t spoken to him, but from what I’ve heard from very, very reliable sources, is that he isn’t very well thought of! The coach has been sacked and not a word from the club about what’s the next move towards appointing one. I’m sure there’s things I’ve missed out Frank, but other than the points I’ve raised, everything else is rosey in the Widnes Vikings’ garden!

Bang on, The power and freedom he seemingly has is astounding. Has done nothing to date. The Longroom runs at a loss, Small percent from bar doesn't even cover the act. The percent deal was set up prior to his arrival

@frankg The question is why is Hamilton deciding which players we keep when he isn't the coach has no knowledge of the players he should never be allowed to do that, something is not right somewhere along the lines.

You just can't believe how blinkered some guys on TIW really are.

I called this shambles of a club both on & off the field out weeks ago.

I gave it the title #vikingsfunbus & lets all have a disco/Hi de Hi when JK was here, it was an embarassment, yet we still have some telling us to stay calm, go prune the roses & cut the lawn, it'll be alright on the night type garbage.

We are nose diving into Championship 1 but hey ho

If farnworth went to Oldham that would be a massive backward step - yes Danny on his way with a few others

but it starts the clear out we need

we will not be in the playoffs fact

we may be in relegation trouble but I feel the players will pull together an£ win 3 games before season end

new coach now is critical - the old French coach is very quiet !

Pascal here to coach. 💪🥊🥖🥖 On a serious note a coach is needed soon and a few wins to stop the meltdown. But losing 7 out 8 is relegation form. On a positive JJ not played well and if Forber plays better it is a good move. 🤣🤣💪👍

@rl-the-winner what could he possibly be doing that’s “best” for him? Like people have stated he’s getting rid of the Cling on players we have and getting rid.
