Looking on the South Stand seating plan, there are only Silver & Gold section seats remaining, so it looks like it may sell out, You cant tell how many North Stand are sold as they don't have a seating plan for the unreserved stand.

Paulie is right, anyone who is remotely interested in RL already knows that this game is taking place.
As for the uninitiated, I'd guess that, if they do come and enjoy the day, they're more likely to come away thinking they'll drive the 7 miles to Warrington to watch top level RL than return to the Vikings fold.
I'm not being down about it, that's the reality. I know a few who drive to Saints to watch games because the kids want to see the teams/players they see on the telly.
Apparently you can buy general admission seats for the South
Paulie xx
Being a cup game its general admission in the South as well as the North, so when you select general admission you can scroll down to select the South Stand. If you want to select a specific seat, you have to pick from Silver or Gold. It's normal for a cup game as its not included in the season ticket.
Loads of seats left for the South Stand, I'm guessing Warrington have sold about 2,000 tickets for the West Stand and we have sold about 1,500 for the North and South combined. The capacity of the 2 stands is 7,700 so loads of spare seats, I do hope that we open the whole of the North Stand though as its a better match day experience and it will look better.
What we don't want is them only to partially open it and then 1,000 walk ups turn up on the day and everyone have to be crammed in at the front with not enough concourse or turnstiles open. If we could get 2,000 North Stand tickets sold by Friday I think they would have to open the whole stand.
I can't see many more than normal in the South Stand, I would give Warrington the first block next to the West Stand if they end up selling out the full 3,000 or so capacity. I'm going for a crowd of 5,200.
@dan1 you can bet your life that a load of walk ups will rock up and this is exactly what will happen. HBC are a joke!
All I know is as of last press release...3,500 tickets sold at 25 quid each ...circa 87k ..shared gate will bag us 43.5k as of now....will the squad get what it desperately needs ....not a chuffing chance ...it'll get dregs on loan from the club that'll most likely pump us if they take it semi serious...what a time to be alive...
They have not sold 3,500 tickets at £25 each. Adult season tickets holders of both teams at £20 each & concessions £10. I cannot see us making much money out of this to be honest.
However I am really looking forward to this game versus our closest rivals. Just hope it is a good atmosphere, a good game, we give a good account of ourselves but most importantly suffer no injuries.

@dan1 I messaged the club and they said they’re opening the whole north stand
if we make £50k that’s a good amount for us in our position. With that and the freeing up of the wages from the players that have left we could sign a decent centre
Totally agree PW, We were there's Sunday and even though we lost there was a carnival atmosphere aster the game. I wonder how many Widnes fans feel that the club is at the heart of our community? It feels like when we go th all the small Yorkshire towns that this is the case, but it doesn't feel feel that way to me about our team.@pauliewalnuts that's part of the point, if its just a game of rugby and we get beat why would anyone come back. If you are paying £24/£25 to watch Championship rugby in a half open stand with 2 turnstiles, and one concourse. Unless you are one of the now 1,750 and shrinking hard-core fans i don't think we can just expect people to turn up anymore.
I think we need to at least have a go at getting people back to a game, put on a good show and try to grow the fanbase.
Don't disagree with you @Dan1
When you say put on a good show, do you mean by the Team, or by the Club?
The Team can't guarantee putting on a good show as they are playing far superior opposition. They will give it their best shot, and hopefully give a good account of themselves. The Club, on the other hand, CAN put on a good show. For the price that they are charging, they can afford a bit of decent pre-game/HT entertainment, even get out the face paint for the kids. Like I said, everyone in the Town knows the game is on, but there needs to be inter-action with the Townsfolk on what is happening around the game, if anything is. It's not just about the 80 mins in 2025, people want more. Yesterday they got it at Batley. I left about an hour after full-time, and the famous Beer Garden was still packed, the sun was shining, both sets of players were mingling amongst the speccies. It was great, it had an 'Event' feel about it.

spot on , all we ask is the team give a good account of themselves and a fairly competitive game
we are not at the top table but this gives us the opportunity to show that we should be there
onwards and upwards

Not to mention the extortionate extra costs the Council want for opening the additional stands - oh and the Policing requirement.

It cost me £28 to get "my" seat in the South stand, gold section, concession rates.
Well after the Twitter post some will have to pay Anthony's travel because that's quite embarrassing not paying them
