@cumbria-viking Bradford fans said Ah Van was the worst winger they hsve ever seen, would take their opinion with a pich of salt.

Just listened to Matt Shaw's house of league podcast and he went further from the story he ran earlier and said Patton has signed for Widnes for 2025 ...very strange tho if he does leave Swinton for Fev for remainder of the season..that was me I'd stay at Swinton..forms turned right round.. appreciated there ..keep under a coach like kilshaw who believes in him rather than go to ford who for me is a complete hype job and fevs a sham atm

@d-day don't worry anything said by a Bradford fan is taken with a fist full of salt...let alone a pinch 😂

Well add Ryan Ince to the 2025 Squad. Hopefully get Butt, Edge, Roberts, Field and Brand added.

Damn shame about Roby, though. I find it hard to understand why players of the calibre of Roby and Wilde choose to leave us and join a side currently near the bottom of the league below.

Sunny this all down to money. Adam Lawton and Farnworth went Oldham for the money, because it a short career and your body is on the line for not that much. Annoys me a Dubai investor gone to North Wales Crusaders when could of come Widnes, who have a decent fan base already. Be interesting where Sam Wilde job is to be fair, but according to Coleman doing shift work with the Fire Service. So would not make many games playing. Nobody really knows but in my opinion got to build fan base, WVIPS members and buy the Children Season pass it on for £26. If can sell loads of these Season tickets then they bring their parents who will pay full price. Coleman also mentioned the fans are important and the community work which will eventually attract more sponsors if are doing well. Coleman speaks honestly and is becoming a fan favourite. 🥖🥖

Wildes has been stated as change of career and due to unavailability he moved on which is sad but fine

Roby is a utility man here and, whilst I like him as a player, he’s not nailed down a spot anywhere in the team and won’t as the 2 main positions for him FB and Halfback are both taken. The move to NWC seems to me like a lad that wants to play regularly he always gives off the impression of a passionate lad who just wants to play so moving to Crusaders May give him that opportunity to nail down a starting fullback or halfback spot. Again fair play to the lad

the difference with Craven, Farnworth and Lawton is that they were starters or at least first choice 17, roby isnt and probably won’t be so they made the choice for money 100% but I think Roby’s is a rugby choice

I think Roberts, Brooks and Fleming are signed to the end of this season. I can see all three being retained.

Its a shame about Wilde and Roby, but Crusaders have got two very good players for next season and best of luck to them. I can't see Brand signing other than on loan

Yeah I’ve got a feeling Keenan still thinks he can make it as a full time player so wouldn’t blame him to keep trying before dropping to PT

We should do a full update who is contracted for 2025 and 2026. Then another who has still got to be agreed for a contract? It seems Lannon and Patton are two players incoming? A squad of 27 of our own players, because we do not want to fully rely on loan and dual players. Coleman did say without the loan players for the Halifax game, we would not have won the game. It is important to stay in a good relationship with Warrington, Leigh, Saints and Wigan, especially being local teams with top players in reserve. Unfortunately we are not in the power to dictate.
