Looking at their respective ages were Smith and Tyrer in the same Saints academy side(s)?

It’s a bit strange how the club didn’t announce it though

They both came on loan to us the same time from Saints too, in 08. Dean was also in the same squad, although Tyrer is the youngest.

If any of them know good, experienced props who fancy a game, they can come along too!!

Where are any of these signings being announced?  Nothing on the club website, facebook or twitter.

Just saw on a social media platform that Scott murell and ste Tyrer are strongly rumoured to be leaving the shay would be a decent enough signing providing we can get some aggression and experience in the forwards

Cross and Baker new contracts were in the League Express.. suppose the club will drip feed recruitment and retention as they will need to deal with the Season Ticket and Autumn Cup issued with more priority.

Won't matter if we get it hot off the press via Paulie!

The York chairman has been saying that he reckons DR will be different next season, with less DR players to go round.

I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing for the continuity of performance and it may give the likes of Featherstone a headache!!

From our perspective, this year we saw Mamo, Patton, Robson and Latu in the space of only 5 league games, wonder whether we will go in with Wire again?

Don’t think Dugdale will be with us next season. Think he’s left/ leaving the club and the sport.

It annoys me that Webster is coach to Fev and assistant coach to Leeds! Very incestuous! The Aussie 'second string' clubs (iirc) are required to be fully staffed and coached so as to be self-sufficient operations.

They're not big money signings - lets face if we can't sign existing players we are not going to do much! The donations will determine what new faces we bring in, if any.

Some are still hoping to get the dog end league going. They must have spare cash whereas we have no 'daddy bank' to call on, what we give is what we've got and we have to look after it.

That would be a shame. Has the makings of a very good player.
