Shite isn't it?
I don't mean the people, they're fantastic. God knows, they try their best given the circumstances.
But the system. And the lack of funding.
I've got more chance of backing Lord Lucan on Shergar than seeing my GP in Widnes. And they've just implemented an online form system that works from 08:00 to 08:02 every morning and then, that's it. Thanks chaps.
The NHS is now there to try and save your life when you're dying. Not to proactively try and treat you so that you don't get to that point. It won't/can't save you anymore.
The amount of people I know recently that are succumbing to what used to treatable conditions is insane. Catching cancer early is key, the drugs get better, the care pathway doesn't. It doesn't exist anymore. Too late when they see you.
And don't get me started on Dentists.
The NHS is ruined. Tory Britain.
