I've mentioned this before, but precisely nowt's changed, coz.....
Over the past few weeks, I've watched the keynote speeches of Davey, Farage, Starmer, and Badenoch, and as ever, they all ended up with (stage managed?) standing ovations, but........
They're preaching to the converted, are they not?
As soon as each of 'em said "Thank you" everyone in the audience got to their feet, as if being pulled by puppet strings! WTF does it prove?
Can anyone remember when a leader didn't receive a standing ovation in similar circumstances? I certainly can't!

Same again in Aberdeen yesterday where the leader of the "Let's Dis-unite the United Kingdom" party received the obligatory standing ovation!
Call me cynical if you want, but (to me anyway) it's so false!

You get the government you deserve! We, the public, happily went on for 14 years right wing rubbish, happily re-electing the same muppets.
Eventually we decided that enough was enough and expect to renew the system in a couple of years, giving everyone just what they want, no need to work or pay taxes!!!!
Immigration?
We should be much more worried about emigration where our young bright sparks, teachers/medics, move out!!!!!
