The production line at Pies, and also at Leeds seems endless!
I was told yesterday of what Croft will be paid (whether he'll earn it is another matter) next season, and it totally dwarfs our entire budget!

Oh for a time when common sense prevailed and all decisions were made sensibly and for the betterment of the Sport as a whole!!
If the game isn't going to come back together again soon and formulate policy that benefits everyone, then my hope is that there are a small group of smart and intelligent individuals who understand what RL is and can up with a strategic plan to break away and form a new, part-time competition.
Maybe, some of our learned contributors on here could come up with a few suggestions to MRLGA
I read today that yet another overseas player has joined the SL party.
That means even more money going out of the Sport in this country. Flights, houses, inflated wages, expenses blah, blah, blah.
When will all this madness come to an end? The sport doesn't have too halfpennies to rub together but it still continues.
Just invest in our youth here and grass root facilities and the rewards will come.
It may take ten years but it will be worth it if the long term future of the Sport can be assured.
Didn't see any of it tonight, as was at a race night for the Trust, but............
