Posted this thought in the Wembley thread. Since then, I've watched Leeds on Thursday, Warrington on Friday.
All 3 games took 2 hours to complete, at least. That's 120 minutes for an 80 minute game. So, including HT, a third of what you're watching is dead air time.
When I used to watch Widnes donkey's years ago, a 3:00 game would be finished at 4:30. Now, they're still going at 5:00.
RL is entering RU and American Football territory. Won't be long before there are adverts on during a Captain's Challenge. Which, by the way, is the worst thing to happen to the game in a long time. Another useless rule change to ruin the flow of the game.

as you say same as America - a baseball game takes a day out of your life !
