Saw you doing the Wigan Walk at Scotland v Italy yesterday, Spelly, but I now realise it was due to needing an early getaway to reach Warrington in time 😀
Yeah mate, we needed to make a quick getaway, and the game was done and dusted by then.
It was slow through the roadworks around Washington, and there was a bit of a build up when a van broke down around the Durham area, but.....................
We were in situ at the HJS by 7.15pm.
Spelly.
From what I've seen (I've watched all the WC games so far) no one will beat Australia. They are far too good this year.

I've been to ten games so far, and ominously, the Aussies have not yet got out of second gear, but won comfortably in both games. The Kiwis too.
We're on P2, W2 as well, and with Greece to come at Sheff on Saturday, it should be three from three.
I'm going for a last four of Oz v NZ, and Tonga v us, but................
After that, I'm not so sure, but...................
The eternal optimist in me still believes we can lift that glittering trophy at OT, a month from yesterday!
Spelly.
Enjoyed PNG v CI, one of the better games, I think.
England v PNG is a real eye-opener. Been to a couple of PNG games and had high hopes for them today, but wow, England making no mistakes, kicking well and just dominating play. PNG had one set of possession in the first 30 minutes!
Hoping PNG can show some pride in 2nd half as they have it in them to score some points, but game is gone now.
NZ v Fiji is the best game so far. Two evenly matched sides putting on a thrilling show of skill and commitment. RL at its best
However, I bet that video ref Tom Grant was mightily relieved that NZ scored in the dying money of the game, after his appalling decision to award a penalty for a clear loose-carry of the ball.

I was there mate, as we jumped in the car at Wigan, and drove straight to Hull.
I disagree that it was a loose carry, and (for me) a defo "strip" it was.
That game could've done the Kiwis a favour, as they've now been pushed, where Oz, and we (so far) haven't.
It was a brilliant game, but (again for me) Tonga v Samoa this aft (I was there too) topped it.
Samoa looked a totally different outfit to the one we stuffed at St James' and they'll be no pushover down the Smoke on Saturday.
Spelly.
Yeah Tonga Samoa was awesome, cracking game of RL. I love the respect they show after nearly killing each other. I doubt England will score 60 against them next week although I think we'll still have too much.
God almighty, what a game that was Oz v NZ.
What a win for Samoa!!!! Justifies the effort down under to establish the Island nations as real rugby entities. Now we need to persuade IMG to pump up the UK nations. That would be expansion!!!!!
Still can't work out why Watkins is considered good enough to be an England centre when Salford prefer Cross?
Samoa deserved that, England were poor. Their stand-off is an absolute top player.
Wain seems to have 'lost' the years that he wasn't at Wigan. McIllorum and Watkins, for instance, are on the way down now.
Welsby seemed out of touch with things though he has been great at club level.
I would question Wain's future contract tbh.

The cynic in me agrees with you Sandgroper. The same expert pundits who last week were saying he was the great messiah, will now be calling for his head.
Thats life !!
As an International coach in any sport, you're judged on tournament football. The Final should have been a minimum for England, the buck has to stop with Wane.
The old adage about the Aussies being able to field 4 or 5 sides to win a World Cup is more relevant than ever.
