Maybe one for Spelly to avoid.

Great to watch, must be the best team they've had in 50 years. Superb attacking rugby, great players, must be the best watch in SL.

But the crowd is one man and his dog. They must be wondering what's the point?

They can't do much more than this surely?

The Thursday night, poor weather wont have helped, but the fact that Man Utd were playing a big European game just down the road will have been the biggest factor in that low crowd. Alot of Salford fans support both.

4,400 isn't one man and his dog.

Utd at home and the stadium 7 miles from Salford probably doesn't help.

I think it is. For your best team in 50 years and the type of rugby they're playing. That's obviously the best they're ever going to get. Not much cop in the scheme of things is it?

I didn’t think they played that well and they were 2 poor teams. If it had been Widnes playing like that, there would have been plenty on here calling them boring and rubbish.
