Barrow struggling with cash flow issues- with Fax gone no home match in 2 months and a trip to London to pay for in the 1895.
Barrow have always struck me as well ran (at least since the mad Dessie days!)
With Halifax and Featherstone gone for now and Oldham moving grounds this new era of the Championship is turning sour quickly!
The fixture list is a joke- we go from March 8th to April 26th without a home game ourselves- this is the first thing to be sorted for next year.
Also, a main reason for the league merger was more localised fixtures- we don't play Swinton or Rochdale at all...
It’s all coming to roost - the RFL are silent on what to do about the lack of fax fixtures, batley are saying they are fine financially,
I thought barrow were probably the best placed financially of the Cumbrian teams ( I know they are Lancashire really)
But the fixture structure as we all know is a dogs breakfast
