Its a grim result, seems like we have spent the majority of the last 17 years or so writing off the current season, in the hope that next year we will fulfil our potential.
But happier times seem a long way away right now, recruitment is a mess, our tactics are outdated. Our crowds are dwindling, what was the attendance today?. and the club just does not seem to have any answers.
Kear has to go today. And we need to get rid of most of this squad, if not all of them in the next 2 years, especially the likes of craven and Owens who have been displaying real signs of Declining ability over the last 2 years.
We need to pick up a couple more wins to be safe from relegation, then rebuild this club over the next few years. It wont be a quick process.

2833 was announced I think. Surprised most people around me, but obviously it includes any season ticket holders who were not there. Must have been quite a few of those today as it looked more sparse than recent games where similar crowds were announced.

Spoken to a few people within the game and people might be suprised at how much of a factor the pitch is when it comes to recruitment. I mean we are stuck with it now, since its the council's pitch and it generates revenue, and will continue to do so regardless of Widnes Vikings playing matches there.
