If we play like we did against Sheffield, apart from a dodgy 15 min second half spell , I'm confident we'll win

Gonna be a nervy afternoon.

York are in good form, a win here would surely cement our play off spot with Wakey away amongst a tough run in for York.

Hopefully we can get 3,000+ in the ground, this coach and players deserve it.

Our squad of 21 is a decent one. I don't know if any are really injured and just there to make the numbers up, but if all are properly fit we ought to comfortably beat York.

Yes interesting to see Reilly named again as he wasn’t last week, it would be a boost if he is fit at last

because next week I assume roberts or Lloyd will be in the centre to cover for bans and I doubt Roby is really fit - he just making up the numbers

sunday I assume is Owens, ince,  Fleming,zbr,butt,Lyons,Gilmore,Murray,fox/ Johnstone,Kirk,Grady,lannon/ Lloyd,roberts

Bench - fox/johndtone,lannon/ Lloyd, Reilly ?, brooks / green/bent

I would love a comfortable win but let’s be honest they lads enjoy making us nervous 🤣

I think it will be a very tough game by the form York are in however when I look at their squad other than Higano, lineham and Cunningham, I don’t really see much threats above our squad. However squad quality doesn’t always equal wins as we’ve learnt over the years!

Well we can’t play any worse in the second half so things can only go up 🤣

Ill-discipline, errors and frustration lose you games

York deservedly in the lead at halftime. We are playing well but they are bigger and faster than us, hope they tire in the next half.

However, so far it is another good, entertaining match spoilt by the referee.

Dreadful. One man rugby with absolutely no idea by the line. I know it was a fluke of a try and two penalties but your getting beat ten nil and charging up the middle. Hope JJ is fine👍👍

Well if you are playing against 12 men and have a penalty in their half what would you do ?
we took the 2 points still needing a try was required - extremely poor

no cutting attack at all, York played the ref better no complaints

lucky to make playoffs now, nut with fev getting beat we may scrape it

donny away will be difficult but if we can beat the frogs at home I will die happy

Weren’t at the races today, ball completion must of been somewhere in the 50% area!

At the end of the day it’s (semi) professional sport and these games can happen. We’re still in the playoffs for now and that’s what the lads have to hold on to and move on from today

hope JJ’s injury isn’t too bad!

Home form isn't great, four defeats and a draw.

Hugely disappointing. They’re one of the most limited sides in attack I’ve ever seen. Had a lot of the ball in our half and rarely looked like making a break, never mind scoring a try.

But Fev and York have both been to our place, scored a try each and won the game. Not good enough. Gilmore miles off it, he should be controlling the game and helping build pressure.

Mentioning the referee is pointless, because they’re all of extremely poor standard. But he was shocking. Fair play to York- allowed to be offside nearly every play the ball which allowed them to get in our faces and resulted in us not making any yards whatsoever. Farcical how many times they were offside.

Massive ask for us now with the games to go.

Our main problem was their line speed assisted by a consistently very  poor referee.

His sweeping gestures to pull York back onside were hilarious - he obviously didn't realise that the players line was in front of him so that they couldn't see his signals!!!

It is frustrating as a win today would have almost certainly see us seal 6th place as it was a 4 pointer.  Now it will probably go down to the last game.

On York they were offside a bit but their line speed was excellent they sprinted forward all the time. The difference today between winning & losing was just that awful flukey bounce that gave them their try.
