Great win that lads. Humble pie for me! Credit where credit is due. The result is irrelevant after hearing the new about Rob Burrow. RIP fella 🦏 🏁

Unbelievable we managed to get ourself in a position to win the game after that first half. Coleman not afraid to make two big changes- taking Dixon and Lyons off.

This team deserves a big crowd for the Wakefield game.

They may not be the flashiest, most exciting team, but they play with more heart than any team I’ve seen for years.

@wirralviking Bret Bailey looked good, he only played about 20 minutes in the second half, but played well, and looks as though he will be hard to put down .
Dixon had a terrible first half, giving them 2 tries and deserved to be substituted, but he did well when he came back on, finishing off 2 tries well.

it’s great to see our spirit this season, never giving up, even when it looks like we’ve got no chance.

Coleman was pumped up at the end, running down to the supporters behind the posts thumping his heart. I think he was pleased😁

Nice to see a lot of Widnes fans making the journey, looked to be nearly a 1,000

Just watched Coleman’s interview on YouTube. Anyone know what circumstances he’s referring to in the middle of the video? Tough 6 weeks for them as a group?

Playing the second half towards the Widnes fans corralled behind the sticks really helped the lads, I think. The crowd seemed to will them to victory. Again credit to the fitness coach as we never wilted. No stand out MOM for me, though Roby took his chance well.

I am not sure but he did say in the interview about Brooks off with compassionate. We have had a fair few players probably playing with niggling injuries, as the squad depth not great with Gregson, Field, Langtree and Reilly missing in the forwards, so a loan from Saints has helped.

Probably best that the lads sort it out together, whatever it is or was, but they seem to have really gelled now and are fighting whatever it was together.

RL is an 80 minute game, the final score is the only stat that matters.

Dixon had a stinker in the 1st half, but came back to score 2 tries out wide. Never hides, and got his reward. Roby's fresh legs made a big difference when we started to pick York off when they tired in the last 20 mins. If we had lost by that appalling decision by the TJ's to raise their flags for the conversion that clearly missed, it would have been a travesty.

Bailey is one big unit, clearly not match fit, but if we can keep him for the foreseeable, it would be a massive boost for the pack.

Great support. From the video clips you can see about 200 Widnes fans so perhaps the  other 800 were off camera.Fantastic following.

3 coaches went, a good few stayed over for a night or 2. Id say a good 450 at best.

Still decent even 450 as some teams don't even get 1k at a home game.
