Will Tilleke ???

What has Will got to do to get a game.   He was the first name on the Team Sheet last season but can't get a start this year.   He came on leaps and bounds in 2021 and I for one was looking forward to watching him again this year.    If he is injured why is he named in the 21 each week.

Totally agree, at least he should have some game time

Send him out on loan for some minutes to a league 1 side if he can’t make the team

He did seem to be making progress last season. Perhaps lacking a bit of fitness but most of them seem to have this problem. When we are so short of size and he can't get a game there must be some behind the scenes issues or maybe Finnegan is just a useless coach.

I think the latter…

Tilleke is not a solution to any of our problems, He can run hard but so can most u10s. Only part of the set up because he is a Widnes lad.

If we released him he would be lucky to get a contract in league 1, he seems a nice lad but not up to Championship Standard.

Not knocking the lad, he’s young and still has time to progress but the reason he played every game last year was because every other prop at the club had time out injured and a couple of them (Jewitt and O’Neill) barely played at all. Maybe he’s worth a go but I don’t think he’s an upgrade on the players playing prop already.

I was saying the same to his family last night in the hotel, he needs to knock on SF's door and ask for game time on loan. He needs to start learning his trade if he desires to fulfil his front row ambitions.

Agree with this. Might be worth loaning out either Hulme or Gregory as well to get them some game time as we aren’t using two hookers just now, never mind three.

Singing 3 hookers but playing Fozard 80 minutes constantly is ludicrous. Literally throwing money away.
