saints reserves giving us a game here - but think we may struggle late on up front, we need points soon

Playing well, lawton helped when he came on, farnworth,edge,Grady, fozard all going well
most of the kicking in open play is from Lyons so far though
Need to tighten up, and we do great ball from Gilmore, Owens in, edge misses 18-6
2 points in the bag, room for improvement but we did well. Hopefully take momentum into the next few games. Empty stadium doesn’t look good for a tv deal, all youth rugby players free ticket accompanied by an adult and fill the stadium
I believe letting edge/Gilmore take kicks relieves Owens off added pressure and lets him concentrate on his game more. All due respect to Swinton it’s a game we should be winning easily and unfortunately a couple of their players let them down with silly yellow cards at the end. I got up at 4am to watch the game but looks like nobody knew the game was on? Terrible attendance and provides no atmosphere at the stadium. Hopefully IMG will get the marketing better than current

@mckviking club reckons our allotted tickets were all sold and they asked for more , if we then fill one twelfth of the stadium it still amounts to fudge all crowd
What was Ince doing at the end? Didn’t look anywhere interested in reaching for that kick which surely would’ve given him his hat trick? Lame run at the end too… v curious….?
@tosh just looks terrible on the Telly with an empty stadium, what sponsors would look at that and want to invest? The tv deal for bash should cover free tickets for u16’s amateur rugby players. The sport needs someone like IMG to step in and help with marketing as they obviously don’t have a clue.
