Whole load of maybes

Just maybes so don't @me ...but maybe we're just a bunch of fans that over the years have been dealt the crappy end of the stick... administrations...appalling decision making recruitment n maybe just maybe it's clouding our judgement..maybe we're just used to things going belly up that we just convince ourselves that's what's gonna happen ...maybe we're actually not in any financial trouble ..can't get more emphatic than Hamilton tonight ...maybe performance was just down to zero confidence n not rumours of contracts ...maybe players leaving and not replaced was just down to the coach not feeling it was needed...maybe JJ going was just JJ wanting SL dig...maybe while many hate Hamilton they should hate the board coz they hired him..they gave him directives ..so maybe he's just doing his job as directed by lifelong Widnes fans ..maybe not everyone is the 2nd coming of Jimmy the rat ..maybe in the long run what's happening now will be beneficial to us in the future ....maybe I've typed maybe too many times and I'm being too optimistic...but no maybes about tonight ...loved smoking the bulls ...and for one final maybe ...maybe the board engage more and rumours don't run rife .....up the chemics

Whilst agreeing with what you say, Cumbria viking, I think you missed out the most obvious MAYBE:-

MAYBE if Viking 123 had not posted the unfounded rumours in the first place, but had bothered to first check what he was saying and the damage it would cause to the club's reputation, none of the following rhetoric and hot air posted on other threads would have taken place

"According to rumours we are about to enter administration again, players have not been paid wages......Craven, Farnworth and Brown going to Oldham."

A handful of other posters then blindly followed his unsubstantiated lead, not helping at all.

Where, Viking 123, is the slightest proof that what you wrote is correct? Which players have not been paid? Have you asked the whole squad if it is true? Did you ask Craven, Farnworth and Brown if they had signed for Oldham.

Of course you didn't - you just joined the small number of posters who seem to enjoy knocking the club, players and coaches. it is one thing to comment adversely on players skills - or lack of! - coaching tactics and the like, but totally wrong to spread unfounded rumours that the club is not paying players wages and about to go into administration again.

So, take a bow Viking 123, you have thoughtlessly succeeded in starting rumours to the detriment of the Club not only on this board but on Facebook, caused Hamilton to have to deny them on national TV, and possibly causing prospective coaches and players we are currently trying to sign to have second thoughts about joining us.

It was written in the media by a good journalist about next years budget.

It’s not just fans rumours

What was written by a good journalist - the untruth that we haven't paid players wages and are about to go into administration?

I think not.

@sunny About next years budget, as I wrote.

I didn’t mention anything about wages or administration, as I think, like you, they’re untrue.

Sunny good post and lazy journalism who get information from this board too. There maybe cuts to players wages next year, and after the performances through the year I expect that mate. Contracts should be done on much more for winning and much less for losing. Bonus for promotion and the position in the league and appearances. Craven and Jack Owens probably don't deserve big payments this year, and hopefully things will be improved next year. Personally I would replace Craven and Jack Owens. Glad Ratboy motivated me last night otherwise I would not have gone the game. Top effort from the lads. 💪👏👍🥖🥖🇫🇷

@viking25

I think we are talking at cross purposes - the Viking123 post I quoted didn't mention next years budget - he just wrote as I quoted and took exception to.
