To go from beating Fax last week to losing by 60/70 points to Whitehaven the week after shows something wrong with the attitude. Yes short on players but it's not much different to last week's team. Also for those who went to the 1895 Cup game away at Featherstone earlier in the season, you can see they can put the effort in when they feel like it.
Also I don't believe 5 players got injured last minute, Smith was named last week as well and didn't play. Clough and Farnworth have often been named and not featured. Maybe 1 or 2 but not 5, it also explains why we took a hooker on loan last minute.
Whitehaven have put 60 on us.
