Has  signed for London. He is a prop but would we have had  him back? I think that ship has sailed to be honest. Dangerous near the line but poor on defence & positional play. What do others think?

If we had signed him back there would only have been the criticism of going back and also an injury prone player.

That being said, like Welly and all the best to him.

I wish him well at London but I wouldn’t want to have him back just for the sake of it

Offers an attacking threat but does very little work in defence and was out injured for most of last season. Comes across as a likeable person and I hope he does well at London but if we do sign another prop we would be better off with a solid grafter who plays more minutes.

@mt

Always looked a bit 'lost' when moves were put on, and I got the same impression when he played for other teams.

Seemed like a nice bloke, well liked by players and fans but not as effective as Lawton last year.

Good luck to him, he is an enthusiastic but average player.

I’m surprised that London have taken him on, rather than a League 1 club.

Would rather have Baker and Grady propping. Nice chap, but never a pro rugby player.
