Much better presentation that on Sky who over-hype the game of Super League (not rugby league) every week. I thought the commentary and comments from Kear and Davies added to the game without going over the top and the analysis from Wilkins/Noble/Peacock balanced.
Maybe the BBC will now want to show more games on Saturday afternoon - maybe even a Championship game!

A fair point, I suppose it’s down to whether you want to watch a live match much as you would in the stadium, or prefer a to listen to a bunch of celebs offering their take on the game.
Does anyone else struggle to see the action when the game shifts from sun to the shaded area ?
I hate the new Wembley Sinbad. Said the same when watching the Euros. It takes the camera a second or two to adjust when the action goes to the more shaded part of the field and if it also picks up a bright part in the sun you’ve got no chance to see anything. When Cas were swinging it our to their right in the first half you couldn’t make out who had the ball.
Badly designed for tv but have read elsewhere it’s to give the pitch max sunlight or something???
What about that poor girl doing the singing? Shocking. Sounded like me in the shower.
I really enjoyed the whole day - 1895 final and the challenge cup final. I felt like the old days!

Ha ha ha GPO she was ropey, wasn’t she, eh?
