So who is it ?

Levy Nzoungou (Bradford Bulls currently)

Thanks.A name would've helped in a topic about a new signing.

Definitely risks involved, could prove an inspired signing if it comes off. You don’t get snapped up by Melbourne at a young age without having a fair bit of talent. Looks to have a bit of pace as well as strength on his highlight reel. Hopefully the current injury isn’t something which will recur.

He suffered a serious Knee injury in May. You probably won’t see him for the first 2-3 months of the season as still not recovered. Bulls didn’t offer him a new deal due to said injury.

where have you seen the news re the injury and timescales please? tried to find some info but other than when he first did it I have found nothing re the extent and recovery time ta

Recovery is 6 to 9 months for a reconstruction op. At least we know what it is and been dealt with, unlike Cook's back, Jewitt, Tomkins! Looks as if he needs to find somewhere where he can feel comfortable. Always impressed Coaches like Kear etc.

Reminds me that we signed Stuart Wright because Wigan reckoned his knee was knackered!

It was Stuart Wright’s shoulder - it had a history of dislocating.

Not so. Tobin checked Wright out and reckoned he could fix it, and he did!

Only played 10 games for Bradford only 4 this season so either injured or they have better props.

Last season was written off and this year he got injured in May so that's why he only played 10 games. Could do with knowing when he's due to return to full training, I don't think we would of signed him if he was going to miss 3 months. Like has been said it is usually 6 to 9 months if its an ACL, putting him in contention  for the start of next season.

Plus, after this year's events there should be a failsafe clause to cover the event of his injury not being resolved satisfactorily.

Seems to be widely travelled but always managed to appeal to good coaches. We can only wait and see! A bit like Adam Lawton really I guess - hope that Simon can do the business!!!

Stuart Wright suffered at least two shoulder dislocations whilst at Widnes.

Correct, remember seeing him at Warrington A & E with his arm in a sling after playing either Saints or Warrington one Xmas period.

With Dupree, Amour and Kibula plus Nzoungou, Farnworth and Tilleke we should have a pretty big/tough front row next season!
