This side will be relegated without further investment. Worst squad I've seen us have since the 1996 season and we all know how that one went.
I can’t remember the last time I’ve EVER seen a halfback as bad as Lyons he can’t pass can’t kick can’t tackle basically can’t do anything that makes you a half decent rugby player let alone a playmaker. Coleman and Hamilton have to stop this before it’s too late, worst Widnes squad for a long long time no aggression no togetherness no nothing. And don’t even get me started on Roby absolutely shocking performance. It is what I feared. I hope not but I think we are going to be in a relegation fight from the off. If we do not win our first 2 games I do not think we will recover.
I didn’t go today as the off season for Widnes has been demoralising. This defeat doesn’t surprise me, the club has accepted this for a long time now.
This just simply isn’t good enough. Too much talk and zero action from the club, coach and players.
