Just gonna put this out here ..expect flak..it's all good were all entitled to our opinion...but just wanna say this club that we all love in different ways needs a bit of unity ..the club desperately needs it..we slaughter the club but the most divisive thing is the fans ..there's loads that aren't happy n rightly so ..there's loads that are diehards no matter what ...but come on guys no matter what the next coach appointment is let's get behind them ..if it's who many dread ..or someone else give them the shot ..let's see who it is...who they recruit..what style they play...what results come our way n hey if it's a sham some can say we told you so...maybe the very same might hold their hands up n say they were wrong...fact is nobody holds a crystal ball...but one thing that the club can't afford is division...the negatives just walking out on an appointment....there's so many already walked that route ...we all might have different views but we all love the club that's a fact...let certain people do their job...if they fail give them it but until then let's just ride it out....were Widnes ..we've had this rodeo numerous times ...club lives by us...season tickets...merchandise..sponsorship..beer..scran or whatever...moment any fan walks ye killing something you claim to love ....ye we deserve a period that doesn't involve a chaotic shambles but keep the faith....

As I've said so many times at the Lions, we are a family. We disagree amongst each other over various things, but don't all families?
Whoever is appointed as your next coach, and to be brutally frank, it's not the most appealing job in RL at present, at least give the guy a chance!
Not everyone will agree with the appointment, and no doubt there'll be "WTF?" comments from some, and "Exo! from others, but c'est la vie!
Off to Newcastle about lunch-time, and spending the night up there, before heading to Kingston Park tomorrow for our crucial clash with Thunder.

Very true Cumbria Viking, maybe a time to look at ourselves again.
As a non-Widnesian who worked in the town for a large chunk of my adult life I have no doubt that we are the most self critical bunch on this earth!! The good that is in Widnes is forgotten while we focus on what's not so good!!
The often derided support that still turns up is typical, The optimism that we could 'come again' still survives as it has since the 50's when I started watching!!! (I can remember my old dad offering to plant a Wire supporter who derided the Widnes 'home grown' side!!!!!!)
There were times without number when the moaners declared that the ground would 'be car park on Monday!'. But it's not ! It's a pretty good stadium which will meet, and better, the IMG criteria while bigger and better clubs are still playing on ex-slag heaps !!!!
Just let's lift the roof a little bit on Sunday and give 'em a game!!!

@sandgroper spot on mate ....I know for loads their sick to the back teeth of suffering false dawn's ...but not everyone is a rule...yeah it seems Hamilton hadn't had the best effect so far but we don't know circumstances...his remit ...the guys been employed by the board because there's something amiss within the club n rightly or not he's taking the flak for it ...saying this basically because obviously littler link n the furore around it is being driven as it's Hamilton appointing a yes man ..a cheap coach etc ...we don't even know for a fact yet that he's even got the job but we've got loads saying they'll sack it off if it's true ...the guy could actually end up being a breathe of fresh air ...we just don't know so why make knee jerk reactions that affect the club as a whole ...for what it's worth last night I spoke to an ex barrow player that has played under littler in the past n he said he's actually a class coach..methodical ..tough ..takes absolute no nonsense .. probably in some cases what we need ...all I'll say is let's see ...and if it isn't littler well were all gonna look very stupid....
