Even 1:30 is a joke
Do they mean remove seats as in remove from use or do they actually mean remove them?
I am there from the latest 1.50.
Let's see how it goes.
Willing to give benefit of doubt....
These arrival times whilst not ideal are not just WV/HBC being awkward seemingly.
mate in work is a wire fan and he had to be in for 17:45 last night for a 19:45 KO, another friend going to Anfield on Sunday also has to be in 1.5 hours prior to kick off.
sooner this is over and done with the better.

What covid or people, who chose to go to a sporting event of their own free will, having to occupy themselves for 90 minutes ?

it must be to do with seating. My mate who went the HJ only had to be in an hour before. But he was standing in the south stand
Why would you want people congregating for much longer than necessary whilst trying to minimise covid transmission ?
I’ve got my email on but there’s no e ticket as such. No QR code or anything to scan?

There should be an attachment with the email
In fairness, speaking with someone who went to Goodison tonight and they had to be there about an hour and a quarter beforehand.....
None of this will be down to the club, it will all be the council as it is their responsibility and their risk.
I’ve been involved in a lot of planning for the safe movements of large numbers of people and the key to understanding the issues are to think of the pinch points. In any building or site there will be areas where social distancing causes severe congestion, which introduces risk. You may not want to keep a social distance, but it has to be planned to be available to you.
Doors are a given, but actually not the biggest problem. Stairs are the biggest problem and at our ground you have to go up stairs to get into all the stands - at the Gerry Halliwell you walk straight out to the stand turn left or right and then up stairs, so the stair traffic is halved compared to ours. Toilets next biggest issue - there might only be 1200 in two stands on Sunday, but the queues for the toilets will be massive with distancing and we need to be respectful of our elderly fans needs!
Planning these things at the moment is a nightmare. One thing I am a little concerned about though is after the match. I’ve not seen any staggered departure times - staggered times in but every man for himself to get out? Exit needs to be controlled or the only scrum we see will be at the stairs to get out! The club should’ve announced a plan for this so fans know what to expect.
It does say in the notes that a block at a time will be allowed to leave. I assume this will be dealt with over the tannoy. I guess they don’t need times as it will depend on how many actually turn up
It’s more arsing about than what it’s worth.
You can purchase a ticket for Fev but not for Widnes sums it all up.
300 semi final tickets for Featherstone away available to purchase on the official Widnes website at their old, 9,850 capacity stadium. It's embarrassing.
