Lovely stuff
Can't wait 🙂
I wasnt going to go if the weather looked dangerous in any way, but as it stands, the sun is out and barely any wind.
Unless things drastically change in the next hour or so, the club are right in keeping the game on. I guess the major consideration was how safe it was for Batley + out of town fans getting here.
As usual way to much adverse social media hype this time about weather. We play on a 4G pitch in a modern stadium. Sun is out, wind dying down, batley set off hours ago, so let's get along and support the lads and eat our free pies.

delayed kick off 3.15
Clear blue skies and sunshine! Crackers

not really, batley are running late, more modern stadiums have cancelled games. at the time of posting this morning that wind was dangerous and our garden was well flooded with the rain. a decision had to be made by a certain time, looks like they got it right but i wouldnt say to much adverse social media.
It's a bit of wind and rain. Modern world gone mad. Without social media and the news I wouldn't have even thought about the game not being on. Im sure its bad on high ground or on the coast but here it's absolutely fine. It was really bad for literally 10 mins and then it blew over. I bet City are gutted now calling their game off too early.
city have ppl travelling from all over the country to be fair to them
True, all the new fans live miles away from Manchester since they got a bit of money, a bit like Liverpool haha.
