We are said to being interested in signing Castleford's Silva a prop originally from Barrow. Wigan signed him but never played for them. The article says he was with us in 2022 but I do not recall him at all.
We have 4 specialist props already in Murray, Bibby, Chapelhow & Houghton but I suppose if we have got extra money from more season ticket sales than expected, & I guess Maizen would have been on a reasonable contract, it makes sense to cover a position where injuries are more prevalent. Perhaps one of our current props is already carrying an injury.
Any thoughts about this or his form to date?
Correction originally came through London's system not Barrow.
Would be a squad player for me and we already have Houghton as a squad player ready to step in. Although he may get game more time if Gregson is out and McWhirter goes to loose forward.
For me its very early in the season and SL hasnt started yet so we could wait and get someone else.
