Is it worth trying to jump through all the hoops for minuscule IMG points, when the RL can change the rules for points at short notice, and the most likely way to get into SL is if someone comes in with a big financial sponsorship for a team, or you have someone who used to belong to your club, being involved in who gets promoted.
It doesn't look like we have much room for manoeuvre there. Can't see how we could get many more points than we're already getting. Well, without spending a shedload of money that we haven't got.
Again very open and detailed breakdown by the club. Can’t really ask for more there’s physically nothing they can really do to improve any of the scores
I’ve looked at York and Bradford’s websites. Neither go into anywhere near the detail Widnes do to explain their scores. Basically Bradford just give the scores without any explanation. So no explanation as to why Bradford’s IMG score for the stadium has increased (or for that matter any of their other scores). And unless I’ve missed something York’s average attendance for last season is still under wraps as they’ve not even been bothered to give the individual marks that made up their IMG score. In addition as far as I know the criteria used for Super League applications has never been published.
Yeah that's dodgy. I simply don't believe some of the ratings published.
@gpo1971 on performance we are only on 1.9 points out of 5. We have finished 7th, 5th and 7th over the last 3 years. If we can finish in the top 2/3 and win a grand final or the 1895 Cup if it still exists that will help. We can also get an extra 0.5 points if we can increase average crowds from 2,100 to 3,000. Those are the 2 we should be aiming for and go hand in hand.
Didn't we only win 4 home games this season? It makes building momentum difficult.
The big gain would be owner investment, but that's a more difficult one. Grand Final and 3k crowds we absolutely should be targeting.

That appears to be the only way we can get in. As you know, Stu Murphy more or less confirmed that last night. We better get used to 3 trips a year to Cumbria.
