The fans are the only real asset

This one is addressed to the board who I believe are a group of honourable men who stepped up to the plate to save the club in it's darkest hour, but have now slipped largely into anonymity. You could canvas any cross section of loyal Vikings fans about the things that are going wrong at the club and have been going wrong for some considerable time now and I am sure you would get similar answers from everyone asked - this forum indeed, demonstrates that very well. But the club seems to just be rumbling on in the same direction doing the same things which is just pushing us into this downward spiral (Einstein once said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results!) So now is the time I believe for the board to one again 'take the bull by the horns' and provide some leadership and change direction before it's too late. The fans need to be listened to, as they are the only real asset and meaningful source of income the club has. The more frustrated and disillusioned the fans become, the more the support will drop off and the more the club's income is squeezed - a downward spiral indeed! The board cannot abdicate the leadership required to a hired hand who does not have the required professionalism, communication skills and leadership qualities that the club clearly needs right now. This needs to come from people with Widnes Vikings best interests at heart. Sorry for such a long post but, but it had to be said - my first post too1
