How do you know, Martin? You seem to be the only poster who (twice!) has said JJ is injured.
He’s defo out for three to four weeks. His Conjunctivitis is much better but his shoulder makes him unplayable. Spoke to my family this morning, Gilmore out for three to four months. Hope he does play but as I said he will have stepped up big style. 👍👍
What your saying doesn’t make sense though because a 28 man squad a 21 man squad names for the game we don’t have 7 players our injured so why would they name him in the squad if he’s 3-4 weeks out with a shoulder injury it just doesn’t seem right and I don’t believe Kear is a coach who would play someone injured

@ditton-donkey don't assume Craven to be a definite just because he's been named.May be just giving him as late as possible.If he plays just because Gilmore is out then that could back fire.

If we assume -(Yes, I know that makes an ASS out of U and ME) - that everyone in the 21 is fit, otherwise why include them, how about:-
Owens. Millar. Fleming. Edge. Dixon. Craven. Lyons.
Hatton. Fozard. Amor. Grady. Wilde. Bent.
JJ. Walker. Field. Davies.
Tilleke.
Because the squad is named in advance.Players who have no chance aren't included, such as Gilmore and Farnworth.Others such as Craven may be 50/50 at the time of squad announcement and have a chance of being ready in time.If JJ is one of those who have have no chance of being fit then I'd agree,that's pointless.So people on here are saying we are naming injured players in the 21 ?

Virtually my team I would swap Davies for Wilde because Olly has been playing really well. Hoping Lyons improves as Gilmore is a massive lost for Widnes.🥖🥖🥖🥖👍
