Johnstone, Lawton, Hatton, Walker.

For me it would be:

OWENS

MILLER

FLEMING

EDGE

DIXON

(CRAVEN) LYONS

GILMORE

FARNWORTH

FOZARD

AMOR

GRADY

LAWTON

BENT

subs (any 4 from 7 dependent upon the opposition/fixture for the subs config. - bit of a kop out, I know, but not always naming a back on the bench may be prudent in this League!)

JOHNSTONE

WALKER

DAVIES

BROWN/FIELD/(LYONS)

WILDE/HATTON

TILLEKE/EVANS/ROBERTS/BROOKES/HOLROYD

subs selection shows how much better the squad is this season

I think the teams named above are pretty accurate the only real unknowns are starting wingers really

i do agree that the squad is better than last season regarding depth but other squad’s have been improved also so I just hope the players who have come in have a great season ahead and justify where the extra money has been spent, Gilmore, walker, Johnstone, Amor especially

Post St.Helens keary said farnworth is unsure because he came of with a shoulder knock

both evans and Robert are 50/50 both rehabbing knocks as well

Owens/Ince/Flemming /Edge/Dixon/Craven/Gilmore/ Farnworth/Fozzard/Amor/Grady/Olly/ Lawton/Johnson/Walker/Hatton/ Wilde

Well that is my 17 but the ones left out are also good players, and definitely get a chance with injuries occurring, or for squad rotation. 🥖🥖🥖👍

If our squad depth is so good especially in the backs I don't see how Owens is in the squad.

....and I agree.  OWENS looked very dangerous joining the line - we were very dangerous on that right hand side, especially.  OWENS for me at FB everytime.

Owens

Ince (played well against Saints)

Flemming

Edge

Dixon

Lyons ( Craven when fit)

Gilmore

Farnworth

Fozzard

Amor

Wilde

Grady

Lawton

Subs

Walker

Field

Johnstone

Davies/Bent

Edge has been quality in pre season, deserves a centre spot, Flemming is also quality at this level. Ince shaded it over Miller vs Saints so I have gone for him on the wing along with Dixon. Grady and Lawton in the back row gives us size. Farnworth and Amor pick themselves with Field and Walker my pick for the 2 bench props.

Kear says that Craven is 'touch and go' for York this Sunday which more or less confirms he won't be playing.
