Excellent result, we suffered a bit with decisions but kept on playing.

remarkable double over a top 4 team yet get beaten twice by 12th team - sums the season up really

but there is a team ethos building, hope our new additions can add to this and a good season awaits

onwards and upwards

Sounds good to me, he certainly makes his presence felt on the pitch

Enjoyable result, plenty of effort on show; crowd really got into it at the end which was pleasing..

Pity we have had 2 very good wins Halifax and Bradford so late on in the season when the play offs are gone but hopefully with the new signings it augurs well for next year.

Smith’s effort in the last 10 to stop their drop goals was immense. Definitely deserves a new contract.

Farnworth was incredible, one of the best performances I’ve seen a player have in years. Will only get better, too.

The team came together and really showed what they could be capable of next year. Glad that Cloughy went out on a win he has done his bit.

The crowd needs a drummer to start them off, there must be someone with the energy to the job!

Have to practice holding onto the ball though!

Did anyone see what we got the last minute penalty for? I could not see from the angle I was sat at. I just saw Lawton react.

It was ironic Lawton got us the match winning opportunity as it was far from his best game.

A real gutsy performance from the team  today. Well done to all concerned.

It was an elbow to the head

Was right in front of me Geoff , Lawton put in a big hit , the guy turned and laughed so Adam went back in and ran into a raised elbow , totally the right call

And it was thanks to the touch judge, the ref was going to penalise us! Bradford were using all kinds of dodges and it was great that our lads kept their cool. We have lost it in other games and lost.

Agree that Farnworth really came of age today, refused to be 'bossed', and really ripped in. Shows what may be accomplished by a young energetic pack, with some old heads to lead.

It looked to me like the canny Adam went in hard in a last ditch desperate attempt to provoke the Bradford player and it worked! Redeemed himself as it were for an awful lot of mistakes.  Had the ref not been under-impressed by Bradford's shameless time-wasting a minute earlier I suspect the penalty might have gone the other way.....

Fantastic finale anyway after we barely got into Bradford's half in the second half. A real gutsy rearguard action. Notable performances from young guns Hulme, Farnworth and Edge.

I couldn't go due to work, shame as last home game for a while, what did the crowd look like? How many Bradford fans compared to Halifax?

That was arguably the best occasion since we got relegated (bar the Featherstone game after "we saved the club"). Wasn't a great match in terms of quality, but thrilling final quarter.

Conceded 19 points in 240 minutes at home. Some positive signs for going in to next season.

Signing Smith again is a no-brainer for me. Hulme too.

Farnworth was unbelievable. As has been mentioned, the pressure and desire by players to stop the drop goals perhaps reflective on the up turn in defence in recent weeks (at home!!).

I presume our line-up is partly being influenced by giving players the opportunity to play their way into a deal for next season (ie. no Spedding, Hatton or Else).

Hopefully a win at Swinton next week, and we'll end the season with three straight wins and a bit of encouragement.

I think the Ref was going to give it the other way but the touchy came running onto the pitch. He gave another decision as well during the match. Nice to see him stick his neck out and make a decision rather than seems to be the norm these days and leave it to the Ref. Just needs to wave his flag now as he runs on and it'll be like the old days. Well played Touchy.

And well played to the Ref for trusting and listening to his Touchy.
