Surprised Lyons has been given the number 6 shirt, if Abdul stays fit, he’s not going to get a start. And Max Robers is in the 13 , but Langtree isn’t.

Why do fans read too much into these squad numbers every year ? It's not automatic selection 1-13
Surprised at a few squad numbers as I thought Maizen would be 1 and i thought 12 be Langtree or Lawton. Nick Gregson must be his good mate as Hall or Mcwhirter for me. I also thought Chapelhow would be number 10 shirt. 🤣 On a serious note we can not look too much into this and lets see what Coleman can do in his third season. Merry Christmas to you all.

I'll point this out ....bent started many games at prop ...he's been allocated the 10 ....gregson started many games at LF...he's been given the 13 ....same as Johnstone started over foz..he's allocated 9 ....some will be nailed on some won't ...won't change my view that I've stuck to for donkeys ...bent and gregson in those particular roles are absolutely pants ...you happy clap all you like lad ...
I've heard that Sergent has a bad leg injury, he won't be playing for a while.
I'm with you on Gregson and Bent, especially Bent, we're lucky if he nakes 2m per carry.

Agree and Gregson has never impressed me. Bent great tackler and engine but prefer a prop punching holes down the middle for backs and back rowers to support in play. Hey I will support my team and you could add Jack Owens played centre a lot and has the number 3. It is just my opion but I do think Coleman picks his mates. 🤣 Maizen was here last season and can not understand why he is not Number 1 in the squad.
@cumbria-viking I can't see Benty starting at prop, he may get spelled off the bench, especially for his tackling. I suppose it's all the Coaches decision on the day. To me, they're just numbers on a shirt. Will Langtree start when fit, I'd expect so, he's no.16, Abdull no.22, he'll start with Gilly, I would have thought.
