Widnes Eats, a very good sponsor of all things local, have pulled the plug tonight. Club couldn't even be arsed spelling one of the departing players names correct. I've noticed a few spelling and grammatical errors lately, and coupled with the cringeworthy LinkedIn posts who on earth is running the social media? It doesn't take a lot to get the little things right. What a joke!
Why have they pulled out?
Spelling players names wrong is a disgrace. Even worse it’s still spelt wrong hours after countless people have pointed in out.
Complete lack of respect
Just looks so unprofessional for an official tweet from the club to spell the name of one of our players incorrectly.

Maybe the club is asking for the going rate for sponsorship and the prices went up? Who is the marketing/sponsorship manager at the club?

Widnes eats pulled out because the player they sponsor went out on loan, the player they sponsor is Holroyd who has always been a fringe player for the club and when has played didn’t exactly get over the try line enough to get the sponsorship in the limelight. For the spelling mistakes I hardly think it’s the worst thing in the world.
