Mr Passion is back and all the fans want is to see effort win or lose. No way should we concede 38 points at home to Batley. The board have taken action and I prefer them to take the time than appoint a coach who is out of depth. Whoever we appoint not everyone will be pleased. To be honest if a top coach was picked tomorrow I still don't think we would beat Featherstone. The players we have are not better than Leigh or Featherstone and next year I keep the better players and move the drab on. Mad Frenchy is behind the club and Pinkies waiting for this horney man. 👍🥖🥖🥖😜

Some people need to take a step back, a deep breath and ask themselves why they bother. Don’t like the last coach, don’t like the INTERIM coach and undoubtedly won’t like the long term replacement. Why are you bothering ?

Yes mate, absolutely! I can’t remember any coach coming to Widnes since the advent of the internet who wasn’t slated and abused from day one. You can absolutely guarantee that whoever we recruit there will be some lemon on these boards who will make a song and dance about how the club will be ruined and how he will never watch the team play again!

Widnes Vikings is a small club. A stepping stone club for both players and coaches either on their way up, or their way down in their career. The tough part is choosing whether to recruit a coach possibly on the rise of his career, as fans want, which could be risky like SF or to get a coach past his best but who will do a job for us. Fans and supporters need to realise this, though that won’t happen.

Are you sure! I don’t remember an outpouring of bile towards Tim Sheens.

I bet it’s there if we looked for it - the nay-sayers getting their comments in early doors just so they could say ‘told you so’ at some future point. Mentioning TS though, did we ever properly find out why he left?

@steve I think it was to do with the opportunity to be director of rugby at balmain tigers

also I heard a whisper he couldn’t bring in his assistant and also he wasn’t the only one picking the starting lineup and transfers

We're going to be a stepping stone for someone, make no mistake. But that's not bad thing, beggars cant be choosers. But that's what I think we should go for, someone on the way up rather than someone who's been there for ages and hasn't moved on. We need a Boot Room. Someone like a Marshall or a Henderson that Beswick or whoever can take forward.

Because people still care about the club despite the constant criticisms and negativity. If the moaners didn't bother then gates would be even smaller than they already are.

Spot on pal maybe RV and the rest need to realise you cannot defend the undefinable. Take one hardcore fans donations to the the club away doesn't seem much to the pricks on here but it escalates and before you know it we are visiting Cornwall.

They still don't get it Sinbad all we want is a decent watch on a Sunday afternoon and to look forward to the next game.

Still waiting for your response to my post after you called me out, Mick.

Calling people 'pricks' is out of order - everyone entitled to their opinion.
